SBS 6, a TV Dutch station, has just presented a documentary on the 25 most impressive reportages of all times. For my surprise, at position number 9, the reportage on the violence in the Brazilian soccer. I got more surprised when the reportage was regarding the Grêmio soccer time supporters. I'm a big fan of Grêmio , but what I saw was disappointing... a bunch of hooligans talking about drinking beer, fighting and killing people for the honor of Grêmio. Fanaticism like that is desease.
The documentary was based on another documentary made by a British presenter, called Danny Dyer. You can see the full documentary named "The Real Football Factories - Brazil" here. For those interested in watching the documentary part regarding to Grêmio, please see the movie above.
It's outrageous how some people with such small mentality ruin everybody else's fun in the Brazilian stadiums.
